The successful candidate with Lead the Company's finance and administration function to optimise the performance of the Company.
This is a great opportunity for an experience Finance professional or Part/Newly Qualified Accountant.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain all transaction processing, including A/P, A/R and payroll.
- Manage the company's debtors and creditors and optimising its working capital.
- Operate and maintain fully integrated Job costing system using Intact IQ.
- Interact with Project Managers to manage work in progress and complete billing in a timely fashion and ensure project progress payments are requested.
- Supporting month end reporting.
- You will be using your accounting skills and professional experience to complete work in our finance department.
- Working within the accounting team to ensure the timely delivery of accurate monthly financial information.
- Assisting in ad-hoc project requirements as required by the Financial Controller.
Requirements:
- 3 years minimum experience in a similar role
- Minimum 2 years in a similar Finance role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Strong Excel Skills.
- Well organised, self-motivated person with the ability to operate on own initiative.
- Positive - Can do attitude.
- Flexible & Adaptable team player with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Payroll and Job costing experience is an advantage.
- Highly numerate and a strong attention to detail & accuracy with the ability to produce quality work.
- Willingness to learn, take instruction & ownership in routine practices.
- The role will suit an enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated individual.
