Reporting to the IT Compliance Manager, the IT Value & Performance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the management of IT risk, audit and compliance activities. This includes supporting IT compliance with company policies (procurement, governance etc), supporting the sourcing and collation of artefacts as part of internal and external audit responses and maintenance of key IT artefacts such as the IT risk register and monthly KPI reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT compliance with company policies, including PD/02 and PD/03
- Ensure that purchase requisitions and call-off contracts are compliant with policies, and are adequately supported by appropriate backing documentation.
- Support the management, control and protection of all software asset management assets across IT by acting as a point of contact and key organiser for external software reviews\audits
- Support the management of internal and external audit recommendations, risks and internal controls and the co-ordinate the implementation of any associated recommendations
- Maintain the IT risk register, and ensure that associated actions are executed (or escalated to IT Management) appropriately
- Maintain key IT reports, including monthly governance reports and KPI reporting, by collating key inputs across the IT teams.
- Drive continuous process improvements - identify opportunities, generate ideas and recommend and implement solutions
- Engage proactively with business stakeholders, participate in relevant business facing meetings and develop strong working relationships with IT customers
Required Skills:
- Experience performing similar compliance activities is desirable
- Experience supporting the completion of internal and\or external audits is desirable
- Experience with purchase requisitions is desirable
- Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable
- A minimum of 3 years' Experience in the utilities or similar industries is desirable and or relevant experience
- Experience managing a team, with strong people, change management and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Proven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion along with the ability to communicate information to others
- Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions
- Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements
- Proactively identifying new areas of improvement and using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job
