Quantity Surveyor - Data Centre Europe

Salary: Up to €75,000 + Bonus + Full Package

Location: Austria, with long-term European projects

Rotation: 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Home

An Irish-based specialist roofing and cladding contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a major Data Centre project in Austria.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established specialist contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects across Europe over the next 5 years. Following the initial project in Austria, there will be opportunities to work on further high-profile Data Centre and construction projects throughout Europe.

The Role

Working as part of the project and commercial team, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of specialist roofing and cladding packages
• Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
• Assisting with procurement and commercial negotiations
• Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
• Working closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and site teams
• Supporting the successful commercial delivery of major European Data Centre projects

What We're Looking For

We are keen to speak with both experienced Quantity Surveyors and fully qualified junior candidates who are ambitious and interested in developing an international career.

You should have:

• A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
• Experience in construction, roofing, cladding or specialist subcontracting would be an advantage
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A willingness to work on projects across Europe
• The ambition to build a long-term career within a growing international contractor

Junior Quantity Surveyors are encouraged to apply. Full support and exposure to large-scale European projects will be provided.

• Salary up to €75,000, depending on experience
