Finance Officer

• $55 - $65 per hour base + super

We are seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to support a mission-critical reporting period. This is an urgent requirement designed to strengthen the team during peak year-end and audit activity.

About the Role

• Assist with month-end financial activities, including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and related processes to support accurate and effective financial management.
• Liaise with outsourced service providers to support the delivery of key finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance reporting.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including the management of purchasing cards, travel accounts, and other operational activities.
• Respond promptly and professionally to queries and requests for information to meet business and stakeholder requirements.
• Maintain and improve administrative processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Support the Finance team and broader directorate in meeting cyclical deadlines, workflow requirements, and other duties as required.

About You

• Proven background in financial accounting and transactional finance
• CA/CPA part-qualified/quaified
• Experience working with high-volume financial data, ideally within a large corporate or chartered environment
