The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading investment management business seeking an experienced Client Services / Account Manager to join its institutional and platform client team on a 6-month contract.
This role sits within a high-performing distribution and client management function and offers broad exposure across institutional investors, platforms, mandates, pooled funds, and key investment stakeholders.
You will act as a key point of contact for sophisticated investment clients, delivering a best-in-class service experience while partnering closely with investment, operations, product, and distribution teams to support ongoing client relationships and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key relationship contact for a portfolio of institutional and platform investment clients, ensuring a high-quality end-to-end service experience
- Coordinate and deliver client reporting, investment updates, presentations, and bespoke reporting requirements across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles
- Support the onboarding of new clients and mandates, including documentation, operational set-up, and stakeholder coordination
- Partner closely with investment, sales, and portfolio teams to support client review meetings, investment discussions, and servicing requirements
- Assist with RFPs, due diligence questionnaires, compliance reviews, and client information requests
- Manage client queries and issue resolution, working collaboratively across internal teams to ensure timely outcomes
- Coordinate cash flow, liquidity, and operational servicing requirements with internal and external stakeholders
- Support broader strategic client initiatives and relationship management activities, helping maintain strong client retention and engagement
- Build strong internal partnerships across investments, operations, compliance, legal, product, fund accounting, and distribution teams
You will ideally bring:
- Experience managing or supporting institutional, wholesale, or sophisticated investment clients
- Understanding of investment products including pooled funds, mandates, unit trusts, or platform structures
- Strong knowledge of fund operations and investment servicing processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written communication skills, particularly around reporting and client materials
- Intermediate to advanced capability across Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and reporting systems
