Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle monthly payroll for multiple client companies, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Act as the primary contact for client payroll inquiries, system configurations, and setup changes.
- Coordinate with internal HR teams, tax advisors, and social insurance consultants to maintain compliance with Japanese laws.
- Prepare, maintain, and update payroll manuals, checklists, and client documentation.
- Review and optimize payroll processes to align with global standards and improve efficiency.
- Support year-end tax adjustments, social insurance filings, and other statutory reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance client experience and streamline payroll workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or social insurance operations.
- Hands-on experience with Japanese payroll systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong data management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (required for client and government communication).
