A global technology leader is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to drive strategic HR initiatives across a fast-paced and matrixed organization. You'll be instrumental in aligning people strategies with business goals, enabling cultural transformation, and delivering HR solutions in collaboration with domestic and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted partner to leadership, supporting business strategy through proactive HR planning and execution
Build strong relationships across levels to deliver impactful HR programs
Provide hands-on guidance for employees navigating HR policies and workplace dynamics
Lead HR initiatives in performance management, talent development, and engagement
Manage cross-functional HR projects from planning through implementation
Serve in a specialized capacity (e.g., Compensation Lead) when needed, collaborating with global HR partners
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
15+ years of HR experience, with 3+ years specifically in HRBP roles
Proven track record in multinational, matrixed organizations
Strong communication, analysis, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to navigate complexity and deliver practical, people-focused solutions
Soft Skills:
Agile problem-solver with strategic vision and cross-functional influence
Empathetic and proactive, able to lead with credibility in dynamic environments
Comfortable balancing execution with long-term HR planning
Language Requirements
Japanese: Native level
English: Business or intermediate level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Background in Centers of Excellence (COE) or Compensation & Benefits
Experience leading teams or large-scale HR projects
Established network within the HR and vendor ecosystem
