A global leader in medical technology is seeking a Supply Chain Management Project Manager to oversee medical equipment installation projects. In this role, you will manage end-to-end project execution-from feasibility assessment through final delivery-while ensuring cost control, quality, and timely completion. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact infrastructure projects that directly support healthcare operations in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site feasibility assessments and provide construction estimates to support pre-sales activity
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget following order receipt
- Coordinate project timelines and updates with internal departments and third-party contractors
- Monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Prepare and manage documentation such as product checklists and inspection reports
- Oversee all aspects of the product delivery process, including inspections and shipment verification
- Lead project meetings and negotiations with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management or construction-related roles
- Possession of a relevant architectural or engineering certification
- Proven track record of successful end-to-end project delivery
- Experience in team collaboration and process improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Japanese
- English: Business-level proficiency preferred
