Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee 3PL operations, including performance management and KPI achievement.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to coordinate fulfillment, seasonal planning, and event logistics.
- Supervise order fulfillment, ensuring on-time delivery, packing quality, and efficient returns processing.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reconciling Warehouse Management System (WMS) data with internal systems.
- Review and validate 3PL invoices, drive cost optimization, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 4-5 years in warehousing or logistics operations, with experience managing 3PL partners.
- Strong understanding of material handling, inventory control, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with WMS, POS, OMS, and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Operations.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (written and spoken).
- English: Business-level proficiency (oral and written).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers.
- Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost and performance management.
