A leading global investment bank is seeking a Japanese Equity Sales Trader at Analyst to Associate level to join its Tokyo office. This front-office role focuses on Japanese Equities Cash and Swap products, working closely with institutional clients in a dynamic global markets environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-touch sales trading activities for Japanese equities across cash and swap products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market activity and provide timely trading insights and execution support.
- Collaborate closely with sales, trading, and global markets teams to deliver seamless client service.
- Support trading strategies and contribute to revenue generation within the equities business.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and operational procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Japanese Equity Trader or Sales Trader experience within an investment bank in Japan.
- Strong understanding of Japanese equity markets, cash equities, and swap products.
- Experience working within front-office global markets or equities trading environments.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced trading floor environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with local and international stakeholders.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level fluency (written and spoken).
- English: Business level proficiency.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience covering institutional clients within equities markets.
