You will act as a key point of contact for large Japanese corporations, developing a detailed understanding of their financing, treasury, and strategic requirements. Working closely with product specialists and international teams, you will identify new business opportunities and coordinate banking solutions for both domestic and cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of major Japanese corporate clients, building trusted partnerships with key decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities by understanding clients' financing, treasury, liquidity, and broader strategic requirements.
- Originate and coordinate solutions across corporate lending, Transaction Banking, FX, and other banking products based on individual client needs.
- Develop account and coverage strategies designed to deepen existing client relationships and generate sustainable business opportunities.
- Partner with product specialists and overseas teams to execute domestic and cross-border banking transactions for internationally active Japanese companies.
- Coordinate credit analysis, internal approvals, and ongoing portfolio requirements with credit and other relevant internal teams.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across client Finance, Treasury, and other corporate functions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of each client's business strategy and financial position to proactively identify relevant banking solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Credit, Structured Finance, or a related banking function.
- Experience managing or supporting relationships with large Japanese corporate clients.
- Solid knowledge of corporate lending, financial analysis, credit assessment, and internal credit approval processes.
- Experience working across multiple banking products, such as Transaction Banking, FX, derivatives, or structured finance.
- Proven experience coordinating with product specialists, credit teams, and other internal stakeholders on client transactions and new business opportunities.
- Experience developing an understanding of corporate clients' financing, treasury, and strategic requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.

Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native-level proficiency required for relationship management with major Japanese corporate clients.
- English: Business-level proficiency required for collaboration with international teams and cross-border transactions.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to Transaction Banking, FX, derivatives, structured finance, or capital markets products.
- Experience supporting or executing cross-border transactions involving Japanese corporate clients.
- Experience working with internationally active large Japanese corporations.
- Previous experience in Corporate Coverage or Relationship Management within a global or international bank.
- Understanding of corporate treasury requirements, liquidity management, foreign exchange, and broader transaction banking solutions.
- Experience collaborating with overseas banking teams and regional product specialists.
