Key Responsibilities
- Support core compliance operations including regulatory risk management, license management, regulatory filings, and internal control processes
- Conduct risk assessment processes and handle trade surveillance and communication monitoring activities
- Partner with local business-aligned compliance teams and global stakeholders to maintain accurate and timely compliance coverage
- Help strengthen and improve practical compliance frameworks aligned with Japan regulatory expectations
- Work collaboratively across multiple business areas to support compliance-driven decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 1+ year of compliance experience within the financial services industry, OR
- Experience in financial services such as legal support, business control, operations, or other compliance-related roles
Soft Skills:
- Strong teamwork and a collaborative mindset
- Positive attitude with motivation to learn and develop professionally
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native
- English: Fluent (frequent use in a global environment)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance in investment banking or securities environments
- Interest in working closely with business teams while balancing risk and compliance priorities
