Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements supporting business operations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple business functions to provide practical legal guidance on commercial matters.
- Support compliance, corporate governance, and legal risk management initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments affecting the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
- Collaborate with senior legal team members on strategic business projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on legal matters and dispute management.
- Contribute to legal training programmes and continuous improvement of internal legal processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Approximately 2-5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline.
- Experience supporting commercial, corporate legal, or compliance matters.
- Business-level English with the ability to read, draft, and review legal documentation.
- Experience within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Japanese healthcare regulations or competition law is preferred.
- Experience working within an international or English-speaking business environment is beneficial.

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound commercial judgement.
