As an HRGA Manager, you will lead and manage all Human Resources (HR) and General Affairs (GA) operations for Japan retail. You'll play a key role in driving HR strategy, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive workplace that reflects the brand's innovative and creative culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full HR operations, including recruitment, development, performance management, and compliance with Japanese labor laws.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and provide guidance to management on workforce planning.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and social insurance operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead organizational development, training, and retention programs to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Supervise general affairs (GA) functions such as office administration, contracts, facilities, and procurement.
- Partner closely with retail operations to support store staff development and ensure smooth daily HR processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR and GA initiatives with retail growth and store expansion strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 6+ years in HR and/or GA management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of labor laws, payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Soft Skills:
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Proven ability to build credibility and positive relationships across all organizational levels.
- Upholds discretion, ethics, and professionalism in all interactions.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level.
- English: Business level (Intermediate or higher).
