Join a global pharmaceutical company renowned for its medical imaging and life sciences innovations. As an HR Manager, you'll oversee Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partnering for Japan operations. You will manage hiring, onboarding, performance, employee relations, training, and HR systems-driving strategic HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance, and employee relations.
- Lead Compensation & Benefits and payroll processes, ensuring compliance with Japanese labor regulations.
- Partner with business leaders to implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Act as an HR Business Partner, advising on workforce planning and employee engagement.
- Oversee HRIS management and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Drive HR projects that align with global and regional HR strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years in HR management, including C&B and payroll operations.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, Business, or related field.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel and HRIS system knowledge.
- Strong presentation and data analysis capabilities.
Soft Skills:
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to handle multiple projects.
- Culturally aware and confident working in a global environment.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level (written and spoken).
- English: Intermediate to Business level (TOEIC 800+ preferred).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in multinational organizations.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical or life sciences HR practices.
- Proven ability to resolve complex HR challenges independently.
