A major global e-commerce and fintech group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the onboarding and customer support delivery of a large-scale ecosystem platform used across the organization.
This is a contracting role in a team responsible for driving adoption of the ecosystem platform and ensuring successful implementation for clients.
You will manage onboarding and support-related projects while acting as a key bridge between clients and technical development teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a project manager with strong technical understanding who enjoys working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather client business requirements and understand onboarding needs
- Execute smooth and timely onboarding for technical products and platforms
- Manage technical inquiry handling based on SLO requirements
- Coordinate with Development and QA teams during incidents and troubleshooting
- Continuously learn product specifications and functionality to provide accurate client guidance
- Improve and standardize support processes to increase operational efficiency
- Create and update client-facing support documentation
- Coordinate communication between clients and platform/product engineering teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders across the organization
- Contribute to team KPIs and provide regular reporting on project progress
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in product management or project management within the IT industry
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical platform specifications
- Experience supporting clients through onboarding, system configuration, troubleshooting, and technical inquiries
Soft Skills:
- Strong customer- and product-oriented mindset
- Ability to simplify complex technical challenges and communicate clearly to stakeholders
- Self-driven learning attitude and ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Business-level fluency required
- English: Business-level proficiency required (TOEIC 800+ equivalent)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Experience with CRM tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, or HubSpot
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and standards
