A globally recognized technology organization is seeking a skilled Storage Engineer to support and enhance large-scale cloud infrastructure platforms used by millions of users every day.
In this role, you will design and improve resilient enterprise storage systems that power mission-critical services across multiple business domains. You will work closely with DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams, contributing to platform reliability, scalability, and long-term technical stability.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and improve enterprise-grade storage platforms to ensure scalability and reliability
- Identify system weaknesses and drive long-term infrastructure improvements
- Take ownership of technical decisions and ensure operational success of implemented solutions
- Support team development by mentoring engineers and refining workflows and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage and infrastructure incidents efficiently
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain service continuity and platform uptime
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to improve overall system resilience
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience
- Experience designing system architecture or infrastructure architecture in enterprise environments
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern programming language
- Hands-on experience with enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp, Isilon, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of SRE or DevOps operating models
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams in a large-scale environment
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse engineering teams
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability for system outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term improvement
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Conversational
- English: Fluent (Business-level, e.g., TOEIC 800+)

- Experience working in large-scale cloud environments or internal cloud platforms
