You will bridge technical gaps across borders, lead optical modem integration projects, and support missions from field testing all the way to deployment in orbit.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a global technical liaison connecting international satellite clients with Japan's engineering teams.
- Lead end-to-end integration and deployment of optical modems into satellite systems.
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications and project documentation.
- Drive field testing, installation, and critical system adjustments at on-site locations.
- Manage project delivery from initial inquiry through final deployment and stakeholder alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Advanced degree or proven engineering background in fields such as electrical engineering, robotics, or related disciplines
- Strong ability to coordinate technical requirements and negotiate between clients and internal engineering teams
- Comfortable leading installations and on-site technical support with travel readiness
- Ability to work independently in global technical discussions and client-facing environments
Soft Skills:
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage projects end-to-end
- Clear communication skills to align global stakeholders and local engineers
- Practical problem-solving approach in complex and fast-changing environments
- Adaptability to work across cultures, teams, and mission-critical timelines
