Working alongside global engineering and operations teams, you will help maintain the physical infrastructure that powers large-scale cloud services used by millions of customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Install, replace, troubleshoot, and decommission servers, networking equipment, structured cabling, and rack infrastructure.
- Manage technical support tickets, prioritize work queues, and resolve infrastructure issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform server rack installations, equipment relocation, and data center capacity management activities.
- Diagnose hardware failures and escalate complex infrastructure issues to engineering teams when required.
- Collaborate with global remote support engineers, logistics teams, and local operations staff to ensure efficient deployment activities.
- Perform routine inspections and assist with data center inventory management.
- Follow operational procedures, safety standards, and change management processes to maintain high service availability.
- Support continuous improvements to operational efficiency and infrastructure reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or Hardware Support.
- Basic understanding of server hardware, computer architecture, and enterprise IT equipment.
- Experience using enterprise ticket management systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
- Willingness to work a 24/7 rotational shift schedule.
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure or enterprise hardware environments is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of data center operations or infrastructure support.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow technical procedures accurately.
- High motivation to learn cloud infrastructure, networking, and enterprise technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical support.
