As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will support security operations for fintech services where trust and reliability are business-critical. This role focuses on coordinating CSIRT activities, managing security incidents, and strengthening collaboration across internal teams and external security organizations. You will work in a professional, responsibility-driven environment, contributing directly to the protection of financial services used by many customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support CSIRT activities across fintech subsidiaries
- Work closely with CSIRT members on vulnerability assessment and incident handling
- Manage security incidents and response processes from detection to resolution
- Report security status, risks, and incidents to the CISO
- Share, analyze, and interpret vulnerability and threat information
- Liaise with external security organizations and partners
- Strengthen overall security operations through process improvement and collaboration
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Hands-on experience supporting CSIRT operations
- Understanding of vulnerability management processes
- Experience handling and responding to security incidents
- Knowledge of threat intelligence and security risk concepts
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across organizations
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work calmly and logically during incident situations
- High sense of responsibility in security-critical environments
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments
- Exposure to external security coordination or industry security groups
