Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers in using advanced materials modeling software, providing scientific advice and training
- Assist users with computational setup, simulations, and technical troubleshooting
- Conduct independent research and advise customers on best practices in molecular modeling
- Collaborate across teams such as sales, support, and product development to help drive business goals
- Share research through scientific publications and conference presentations
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- PhD in materials science, computational chemistry, or a related field, with a focus on molecular simulation
Experience & Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of molecular dynamics simulation
- Programming ability in Python
- Ability to travel to the Tokyo office when necessary
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (required for customer support and internal communication)
- English: Business-level (for documentation, reports, and meetings)
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communicator and presenter with strong organizational skills
- Self-starter who thrives in cross-functional teams and manages time effectively
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
