Key Responsibilities
- Develop recognition models, planner models, and end-to-end (E2E) models.
- Deploy recognition algorithms onto ECUs.
- Conduct model retraining, performance evaluation, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning into mobility applications.
- Contribute to the advancement of AD/ADAS systems through research and practical deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years in research or development using machine learning for recognition or control.
- Hands-on expertise in object, signal, sign, or lane recognition AI models.
- Experience applying AI models to route control and end-to-end recognition-to-control workflows.
- Background in AI model optimization.
Technical Knowledge:
- Experience in autonomous or advanced driver assistance systems development (3+ years).
- Familiarity with sensors such as cameras, radar, LiDAR, and sonar.
- Practical experience in vehicle-based evaluation of AD/ADAS functions.
Soft Skills:
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level (required).
- English: Basic to business level (preferred).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Data/MLOps design and operations.
- 3+ years in large-scale system development.
- Strong knowledge of scalable software architecture.
