Client Services Manager

Job Description

Work in a standalone role as a client services specialist reporting into the Head of Operations, developing relationships with key clients.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Provide operational relationship management to our financial market client base, understanding their needs, challenges, and identifying opportunities.
  • Client Profiling: Collaborate with Global Banking to build comprehensive client profiles, including business workflows, future growth areas, initiatives, platforms used, and products traded with us.
  • Sales Support: Partner with Global Banking and Sales teams to pitch new products, cross-sell opportunities, and support FM clients effectively.
  • Industry Representation: Actively represent our organization at Industry Groups and Forums, bringing tangible outputs to internal stakeholders.
  • Strategy Alignment: Fully comprehend the Financial Markets Sales and Operations strategies, articulating them to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business Solutions: Work closely with key internal stakeholders to identify and solve client issues, aiming for 'best in class' service.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct service reviews, follow-ups for enhancements, and manage client escalations to ensure timely resolution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, earning trust in our capability to manage client relationships.

Required skills

  • This role is ideal for an operational specialist with strong client services skills, who wants to work in a specialized role, enabling all of the front office and operational teams.
  • Experience: 7+ years in Operations Client Relationship Management, Client Services, or Global Markets.
  • Technical Skills: Strong communication, customer relationship management, product knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong communication skills in English and Japanese.
