Job Description

An exciting Accounting Manager role at a foreign Life Insurance company, to be accountable for Reporting, Auditing and Business Development.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monthly close and maintenance of all accounting ledgers, and regular financial review.
  • Review and prepare annual internal and external auditing schedules and coordinate audit activities
  • Delivered accurate and timely monthly and yearly account reconciliation reports.
  • Communicate with external regulators and auditors on regulation implementations and project when needed.
  • Act as team leader to manage the team growth and business developement.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience within FP&A, Accounting or Financial Control areas.
  • Practical experience in IFRS Reporting.

Preferred skills

  • GAAP knowledge and prior working experience in Financial Services are preferable.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English.

Personal Attributes

  • Leadership competency.
  • Relationship management skills with external regulators and auditors.
