We're seeking an experienced Finance Applications Platform Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for the operation, support and continuous improvement of a complex enterprise finance applications landscape.

The Opportunity
You will lead a team of six specialists responsible for supporting a broad portfolio of finance applications and services that underpin key business operations.
Working closely with Finance stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and risk functions, you will be accountable for ensuring stable operations, strong service outcomes and the ongoing evolution of platform capabilities and operational practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational management of a complex finance applications platform ecosystem.
- Drive service reliability, platform performance and operational excellence across supported applications.
- Manage and develop a team of platform and application specialists.
- Oversee platform administration, configuration and support activities.
- Ensure disaster recovery planning, testing and readiness activities are maintained.
- Manage access controls, governance processes and compliance requirements.
- Oversee application integrations and operational support across interconnected platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities and service optimisation.
- Establish operational standards, performance metrics and service reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders, vendors and technology teams to deliver strong outcomes.
About You
You will bring:
- Proven experience leading application support, platform operations or enterprise systems teams in FinanceOne.
- Strong background supporting finance, ERP or business-critical enterprise applications.
- Experience managing operational service delivery within complex environments.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
- Knowledge of governance, access management, compliance and operational risk controls.
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar service management platforms.
- Experience operating within Agile, Kanban or continuous improvement environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilities.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on standardisation, automation and operational excellence.
Highly Regarded
- Experience supporting FinanceOne or similar finance platforms.
- Exposure to procure-to-pay, expense management, healthcare finance or ERP ecosystems.
- Experience leading DevOps-inspired operational teams and service improvement initiatives.
- ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.
