Based in Yokohama, this staff-level position focuses on semiconductor B2B sales, account management, business development, and commercial negotiations. You will develop customer business plans, identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, and coordinate closely with marketing, R&D, manufacturing plants, customer support, and global sales offices.
The role offers significant international exposure, including direct communication and negotiation with overseas headquarters and manufacturing sites, while contributing to the growth of advanced semiconductor and logic device solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and manage customer business plans aligned with global corporate strategy.
- Manage semiconductor customer accounts and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- Respond to customer inquiries and lead commercial discussions and negotiations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the domestic semiconductor market.
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and manufacturing teams to drive new business development.
- Coordinate business activities across manufacturing plants, customer support functions, and worldwide sales offices.
- Analyze existing client accounts to identify opportunities for strategic growth and account expansion.
- Execute commercial initiatives designed to strengthen customer relationships and increase business opportunities.
- Coordinate effectively between Japanese customers and international headquarters or manufacturing locations.
- Conduct business negotiations and communicate with overseas stakeholders in English.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Sales experience within the semiconductor industry, including Foundry, IDM, Fabless, OSAT, or semiconductor device companies.
- Experience in B2B customer account management, commercial negotiations, or semiconductor sales activities.
- Minimum educational qualification of an associate degree or technical college graduation.
- Ability to conduct commercial negotiations with overseas headquarters and international business locations in English.
- TOEIC score of 600 or higher, with English proficiency suitable for business presentations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong sense of accountability and personal initiative to achieve sales objectives.
- High adaptability and ability to respond effectively to changing semiconductor market conditions.
- Strong communication skills for managing customer and internal stakeholder relationships.
