A global pharmaceutical and life sciences organisation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to design and execute hiring strategies that support long-term business growth in Japan. This role plays a critical part in building a sustainable workforce by leading recruitment strategy, strengthening talent pipelines, and ensuring compliance within a highly regulated environment. You will partner closely with HR and business leaders while managing and developing recruitment operations at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute hiring strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce planning
- Drive continuous improvement by optimising recruitment processes, ATS platforms, and technology solutions
- Use data-driven insights to manage priorities and improve hiring efficiency and outcomes
- Provide leadership across stakeholder and partner relationships to build diverse talent pipelines
- Enhance candidate and hiring manager experience through strong governance and communication
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with industry regulations and internal company policies
- Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines to support organisational growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, including 2-3 years in a management or leadership role
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and collaboration capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate proactively in a fast-paced, matrix organisation
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience recruiting within pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or regulated industries
- Exposure to regional or global talent acquisition initiatives
