As Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead a strategic TA function, building a high-performing recruitment team while partnering with senior leaders to deliver workforce planning, hiring excellence, and strong candidate experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a Talent Acquisition team, owning performance, capability building, and resourcing
- Drive workforce planning, headcount management, and annual hiring plans aligned with business priorities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid to senior-level roles, from intake through offer and onboarding
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape hiring strategy, market insights, and talent availability
- Collaborate with regional and global TA teams to ensure alignment on governance, processes, and best practices
- Provide clear reporting, hiring insights, and progress updates to leadership teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of proven people management experience within Talent Acquisition
- Strong hands-on recruitment expertise across multiple job functions and seniority levels
- Solid experience in workforce planning, headcount strategy, and hiring prioritisation
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including partnership with senior leadership
- Experience collaborating with regional and global recruitment teams
Soft Skills:
- Proactive, innovative mindset with strong ownership and leadership presence
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinking combined with execution ability in a fast-paced environment
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Fluent
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in global organisations with structured hiring governance
- Background in media, entertainment, or consumer-facing industries is an advantage
- Strong interest in improving employee experience and candidate journey
