Key Responsibilities
- Drive institutional and private wealth sales activities targeting major distribution firms (B2B, not B2C retail).
- Promote alternative investment products including Private Equity and Private Debt solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sales-side partners and financial institutions.
- Collaborate with internal global teams to support product positioning and client engagement strategies.
- Provide market insights and contribute to expanding the firm's presence in Japan's private wealth sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (candidates from IBD, securities sales, or sell-side roles are welcome).
- Bachelor's degree required.
Soft Skills:
- Strong sales capability and relationship-building skills.
- High motivation and ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
- Interest in alternative investments and asset management.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level (bilingual proficiency preferred)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of alternative investment products (PE, Private Debt, etc.).
- Professional certifications such as CMA or CFA are highly regarded.
