Join a global leader in telecommunications and internet services as a Mediation Systems Specialist. In this role, you will manage the core data mediation systems that process massive volumes of call and network data. You will collaborate with multinational teams and vendors to ensure seamless operation, data accuracy, and service reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Define and clarify business, system, and integration requirements, and manage the roadmap for the mediation stream.
- Oversee Data-refinery, Nat-refinery, and Network Repository components of the mediation system.
- Collaborate with vendor teams for development, operation, and maintenance of mediation systems.
- Manage the backlog, drive operational improvements, and monitor production performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CDR (Call Detail Record) flow and validation issues.
- Investigate and address upstream and downstream CDR-related incidents.
- Create test cases and scenarios, and support testing based on production findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in mediation systems or telecom data management.
- Hands-on experience with Batch and Online processing environments.
- Strong understanding of CDR flows and validation processes.
- Proven ability in business/system requirements gathering.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux and SQL for operational analysis and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of telecom networks and infrastructure.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and coordination skills across teams and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Conversational level (preferred).
- English: Business-level proficiency (required).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud concepts (VMs, PODs, containers).
- Ability to write Shell scripts for automation and process enhancement.
