Join a global leader in investment banking and asset management as a Legal Secretary supporting real estate and corporate transactions in Japan. You will play a key role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across over 100 investment vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Handle legal administrative and corporate secretarial tasks across real estate, credit, and equity investment entities
- Manage incorporation, registration updates, and liquidation procedures for investment vehicles
- Prepare and submit filings to Japanese authorities, including corporate registry changes and board resolutions
- Act as secretary and minute-taker for internal committees and coordinate with law firms, accountants, and regulators
- Support document execution and secure seal management for real estate deals requiring hard-copy documentation
- Liaise with internal departments such as Tax, Controllers, and Operations to ensure efficient deal closings and compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in legal administration, entity governance, or corporate secretarial work, preferably in financial services
- Strong knowledge of Japanese legal and corporate governance procedures (e.g. TMK, GK, corporate registry)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with online government portals and legal filing systems
- Familiarity with document management systems
Soft Skills:
- High attention to detail and document accuracy
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Proactive and resourceful problem solver with strong time management
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Fluent

- Experience managing a high volume of legal entities or regulatory filings
