A leading global asset management firm is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead its marketing function in Japan. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Japan marketing team, providing strategic direction and people management.
- Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across retail and institutional investor channels.
- Develop marketing plans that support business growth across traditional and alternative investment products.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including pitch books, presentations, and client communications.
- Manage investor events, conferences, seminars, digital marketing campaigns, and advertising initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales, investment, and product teams to align marketing activities with business objectives.
- Drive brand positioning, client engagement, and market awareness initiatives across Japan.
- Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities to strengthen market presence and client acquisition.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 15+ years of professional experience within the financial services industry.
- Proven marketing experience within an asset management company covering retail investors, institutional investors, or both.
- Previous team management experience with responsibility for leading and developing direct reports.
- Experience developing marketing strategies, client engagement initiatives, and business growth campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and motivating teams.
