Key Responsibilities
- Manage the department-wide budget and execute required accounting transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Map technical project roadmaps, identifying milestones, risks, and potential hurdles early in the planning phase.
- Translate large-scale technical strategies into clear tasks and deliverables for engineering teams.
- Communicate technical progress, budget updates, and financial risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop hiring strategies and improve onboarding processes to strengthen IT and data-focused human resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, budget planning, or financial control.
- 3+ years of experience in business planning, project management, or operational management in technical environments.
- Strong IT literacy and professional discipline, with the ability to understand technical roadmaps and resource needs.
Soft Skills:
- Strong documentation and visualization skills to simplify complex business and technical information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate across multiple departments.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
- Strong organizational ability with a structured approach to handling multiple priorities.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Conversational level
