Join the Tokyo office of a leading European financial institution as a Facilities Manager, overseeing general operations, facility management, and security. In this vital role, you'll ensure the seamless functioning of workplace services, compliance with global and local standards, and alignment with strategic business continuity plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for GM-OS operations in Tokyo, defining goals and operational controls.
- Lead and develop local GM-OS Client Services team members while fostering collaboration and performance.
- Oversee facility management, procurement, and business continuity operations in line with internal and external standards.
- Manage renovation and relocation projects aligned with global real estate directives.
- Coordinate with vendors and building management to maintain daily operations, including IT rooms and BCP sites.
- Handle procurement governance, contract negotiations, and vendor oversight based on regional policies.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and Japanese legal regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 8+ years in organizational operations, facilities, or security roles, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of IT systems, facility security, and procurement procedures.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Cross-cultural adaptability and a service-oriented mindset.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native
- English: Intermediate to Business-level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in multinational corporate environments.
- Knowledge of KYB protocols and Japanese procurement standards.
