Equity & Fixed Income Settlements - Associate

Roles/Responsibilities

• Conducting settlement of primary and secondary products.
• Managing fail transactions and collateral.
• Initiating settlement-related projects to enhance process efficiency.
• Overseeing coupon and redemption management.
• Managing cash and security movements.
• Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for back-office projects.
• Handling tri-party schemes for JGB lending/borrowing versus EQ collateral.
• Managing fund-related processes and settlements.

Required skills

• This role is ideal for a financial services professional who wants to learn about the complete front to back trade processing and product lifecycle.
• Fluent in business-level English and native-level Japanese (speaking, writing, and reading).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in operations or middle office at a securities firm.
