Join a digital-focused brokerage firm as a Client Onboarding Associate, supporting efficient and secure account opening processes for new and existing clients. In this role, you will conduct KYC checks, perform due diligence reviews, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain a seamless onboarding experience in Japan's fast-evolving financial services environment.
Manage new client account onboarding in accordance with KYC guidelines
Conduct due diligence reviews for both new and existing clients
Assess client suitability to ensure alignment with investment profiles
Perform JSDA anti-social forces checks as part of compliance procedures
Collaborate with compliance teams to improve verification workflows
Document findings, prepare reports, and follow up on required actions
Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Experience in securities operations, compliance, or related financial services roles
Knowledge of KYC regulations, due diligence processes, and suitability assessments
Experience performing JSDA anti-social forces checks preferred
Proficiency in both Japanese and English for client and internal communication
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
Clear communication skills for internal and external stakeholder coordination
Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a changing regulatory environment
