Key Responsibilities
- Support business development initiatives and strategic projects across the Japanese market.
- Develop business partnerships between overseas portfolio companies and Japanese corporations.
- Source, research, analyze, and evaluate investment opportunities while preparing investment-related materials and presentations.
- Assist with fundraising activities, investor relations, portfolio management, and fund operations.
- Collaborate with global teams across the U.S. and Asia to deliver cross-border investment and strategic business projects.
- Support the day-to-day operations and continued growth of the Tokyo office.
- Build strong relationships with investors, portfolio companies, and strategic business partners.
- Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities within the FinTech, AI, and Enterprise Software sectors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Financial Advisory Services (FAS), Asset Management, Venture Capital, or another related financial services field.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, investment analysis, and financial markets.
- Experience in client-facing roles within Venture Capital, Private Equity, Asset Management, Fund Operations, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Interest in FinTech, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Enterprise Software, or other emerging technology sectors.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
