Join a leading global (外資系) pharmaceutical organization as an Associate Director, IT Business Partner, where you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation across Medical Affairs. You will act as a strategic bridge between local and global stakeholders, leading high-impact initiatives and enabling the adoption of emerging technologies such as GenAI and advanced digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital transformation initiatives by aligning IT and data strategies with Medical Affairs business goals
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to identify business needs and drive cross-functional solutions
- Deliver innovative digital products including apps, platforms, and emerging technology pilots (e.g., GenAI, AR/VR)
- Oversee digital governance frameworks and ensure successful execution of global initiatives
- Act as the primary advisor for digital tools and engage stakeholders across business units
- Manage external vendors and partners, including onboarding, performance tracking, and budget control
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or business analysis
- Proven experience delivering digital solutions such as websites, applications, or platforms
- Strong background in project management and Agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience with emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, AR/VR, digital health tools)
- Experience managing global platforms and integrating data-driven solutions
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Language Requirements
- English: Fluent
- Japanese: Business level
