Join a globally recognized FMCG company as a Haken Cyber Security Lead, where you will serve as the primary cybersecurity expert for the Japan business. Working closely with regional and global security teams, you will strengthen the organization's cyber resilience by protecting enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, manufacturing environments, and critical business infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Lead, Information Security Manager, or Cyber Security Specialist to play a strategic role in driving security initiatives, managing cyber risks, and supporting digital transformation within a multinational organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives across the Japan business while ensuring alignment with global security strategies and policies.
- Act as the primary cybersecurity advisor to business leaders, IT teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Conduct cyber risk assessments and develop remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Oversee security operations including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), security monitoring, and threat detection.
- Coordinate cybersecurity incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews with regional and global security teams.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, Japanese regulations, and industry frameworks.
- Support security architecture reviews across cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, manufacturing systems, and business applications.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and security best practices across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Information Security or Cyber Security.
- Proven experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programs within multinational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
- Hands-on experience securing Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, or other enterprise cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of endpoint security, SIEM, EDR, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and network security.
- Experience coordinating cybersecurity incident response and forensic investigations.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, or Azure Security.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security architecture and Zero Trust principles.
- Familiarity with Japanese cybersecurity regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with global cybersecurity governance and risk management teams.
