Roles/Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for users on the Global IT Platform, addressing common technical issues directly.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 3 support as necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
- Offer up to Level 3 support for local development scripts in VBA and Python, leveraging technical expertise.
- Coordinate incident follow-ups and generate reports to track resolution progress and outcomes.
- Organize the prioritization of issues and enhancement requests in collaboration with users, their business lines, and global IT teams.
- Manage reports and KPI metrics related to issue resolution and reliability plans to improve service quality.
- Continuously seek improvement opportunities within the team and processes, documenting and optimizing support activities for efficiency.
Required skills
- Strong skills using SQL
- 5+ years experience in application support
- 3+ years Finance/Asset Management industry experience
- Demonstrate the ability to understand both the technical and functional complexities of foreign-developed Asset Management software
- Fluency in both English and Japanese
Preferred skills
- Experience in development using Java, Python, or VBA
- Proficiency in French
- Analyze user needs, reformulating them into specifications while assessing the cost/benefit to present to prioritization committees.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
