Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C for automotive meter and instrument cluster systems.
- Analyse customer requirements and translate them into appropriate software requirements and technical solutions.
- Design, implement, review, test, and maintain embedded software throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate directly with customers, software engineers, and international development teams on automotive projects.
- Participate in software reviews and testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot embedded software issues and identify practical technical solutions.
- Support software verification and validation activities prior to mass production.
- Use version control tools such as Git to manage source code and software development activities.
- Work with microcontrollers and peripheral functions within automotive embedded environments.
- Use automotive measurement and analysis equipment, including oscilloscopes and CAN analysis tools, for testing and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in automotive software quality and development efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within embedded software or automotive development.
- Hands-on embedded software development experience using C programming.
- Experience developing software for automotive meter or instrument cluster systems.
- Experience using Git or another source code version control system.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and peripheral functions.
- Experience using automotive measurement and diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes or CAN analysis tools.
- Automotive development experience or a strong professional interest in automotive technology.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant technical education.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers and development teams.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional and international engineering teams.

- Experience using MATLAB or Model-Based Development (MBD) methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of CI/CD environments and modern software development workflows.
- Experience implementing software test automation.
- Experience improving software development, testing, or engineering efficiency.
- Additional knowledge of automotive embedded systems, vehicle electronics, or instrument cluster development.
- Experience supporting automotive software through testing and preparation for mass production.
