Key Responsibilities
- Lead system development activities for next-generation automotive Cluster and HMI products.
- Define system and technical requirements based on customer and project needs.
- Create and maintain detailed system specifications and technical documentation.
- Manage project schedules, development progress, technical milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate specifications, requirements, and technical matters directly with automotive OEMs and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with overseas engineering teams and internal stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify technical and project issues and coordinate appropriate solutions to keep development on schedule.
- Support successful project delivery by aligning customer requirements with engineering capabilities.
- Facilitate communication between Japanese customers and international engineering teams.
- Contribute to the development of advanced automotive display, cockpit, and intelligent mobility technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within automotive or related technology development.
- Experience developing automotive, in-vehicle, or vehicle electronic systems.
- Experience defining or managing technical requirements and system specifications.
- Understanding of automotive system development processes and project development activities.
- Experience coordinating technical matters with customers, engineering teams, or other project stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant technical education.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills for working with OEM customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify technical issues and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to coordinate multiple technical requirements, schedules, and development activities.
- Comfortable working in an international and cross-cultural engineering environment.
- Proactive approach to project coordination and successful technical delivery.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Intermediate to business-level proficiency required for communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- English: Fluent-level proficiency required for collaboration with international and overseas engineering teams.

- Experience developing automotive Cluster, Digital Cluster, or HMI systems.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and automotive electronics.
- Experience working directly with automotive OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers.

- Experience managing technical requirements, specifications, and development activities.
