IT Service Management Professional

Job Description

Provide ITSM (IT Service Management) & end-user services together with a small team to company's Japan operation in international environment.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Taking into account the needs of the local users, deliver continuous and smooth IT Services along global standards
  • Set up a framework or SLA to streamline IT-related activities as well as the daily interactions of the support team with users
  • Manage outside vendors who are providing key services to the users and monitor their performance
  • Work closely with other global teams to identify best practices
  • Work on implementation and improvement of the following areas:
  • IT Asset Management
  • Incident & problem Management
  • Release Management
  • Lead local & global projects related to ITSM
  • Lead IT Administrators and assist them when needed with all-round administration tasks

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in ITSM, Helpdesk Management, IT Management or similar roles
  • 1+ year of people management or team lead experience
  • Extensive experience within a Windows environment
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles (certification preferred)
  • Experience setting up and maintaining KPIs as well as SLAs
  • Strong command (business level and above) of both English and Japanese, both written and spoken
