Job Description

A new opportunity to join a leading global bank within their Equity Derivative Middle Office team, providing trading and risk management support for the business

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Sat with the sales and execution traders, providing real-time trade support for Equity Derivatives and Prime Services business lines.
  • Complete trade capture in the bank's risk management systems, monitoring transactions and trading positions.
  • Identify and manage control breaks in the system.
  • Prepare regulatory reports for local regulators.
  • Work closely with off-shore teams to support overseas clients and booking of foreign transactions.
  • Take a leading role in ongoing process and system improvements, working closely with off-shore and local project teams.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading global banks, supporting some of the most complex and unique equity transactions and gaining exposure to the front office business.

Required skills

  • For analyst level, applicants require experience of financial services, ideally investment banking. At associate level, applicants must have knowledge of investment banking operations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in Japanese and English.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to challenge and test yourself in a dynamic environment.
