Technical Business Analyst - Production Support - Lending

We're partnering with a fast-growing specialist lender to hire a hands-on Technical Business Analyst / Production Support professional to support and enhance a core Loan Management System (LMS).
This is a hybrid Business Analyst + Production Support role, sitting across technology, lending operations and system stability. You will support both live production incidents and system improvements through structured business analysis and requirements gathering.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide hands-on production support for the Loan Management System (LMS)
- Manage incident triage and resolution with internal tech teams and external vendors
- Investigate and resolve live lending system issues impacting loan processing
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis and system documentation
- Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders
- Support system fixes and enhancements with technical teams
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of lending system stability and performance
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst and/or Production Support Analyst
- Exposure to lending systems or lending products (mortgage, SME, commercial or consumer lending)
- Experience in incident management, application support, or production support environments
- Ability to work with developers, testers and vendors to resolve system issues
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation and process mapping
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Hands-on, pragmatic, problem-solving mindset
Highly regarded:
- Experience with Loan Management Systems (LMS) or Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Experience in mortgage or banking technology environments
- Exposure to third-party vendors or SaaS platforms
- Agile delivery experience
