Are you a seasoned Program Manager with a track record of steering complex, large-scale technology transformations? We are seeking an exceptional contractor to lead a critical Infrastructure Renewal Program.
In this pivotal role, you will drive a major network refresh-encompassing compute lifecycle and storage refreshes-alongside bleeding-edge theatre technology initiatives and vital operational projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure, you will ensure these high-profile initiatives align perfectly with broader strategic goals.
This is a 12 month initial contract, with potential for long-term extension, based in Sydney CBD 3 days a week.
As the Program Manager, you will lead the charge across the entire project lifecycle. Your daily focus will include:
Program Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of the Infrastructure Renewal Program; provide strategic direction and mentorship to foster collaborative project teams.
Planning & Risk Management: Develop comprehensive project plans (scope, timelines, resources) and conduct thorough risk assessments to proactively build mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, senior management, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure compliance with contracts and timelines.
Financial & Resource Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, optimize spending, and manage resource utilization effectively.
Quality & Change Assurance: Implement rigorous QA processes, coordinate testing/validation, and facilitate smooth change management to encourage stakeholder adoption.
Reporting & Compliance: Generate regular status reports for senior leadership, maintain meticulous technical documentation, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
To be successful in this position, you will need a blend of deep technical insight and outstanding leadership capabilities:
Proven Experience: A strong track record of managing complex infrastructure programs (specifically Network, Compute, and Storage refreshes).
Technical Savvy: A deep understanding of modern technology concepts, trends, and the feasibility of technical solutions.
Expert Communicator: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate progress, issues, and strategic updates to senior executives clearly.
Problem Solver: Highly adept at conflict resolution, risk management, and navigating resistance to change within a dynamic environment.
