An exciting opportunity for a business analyst to work for a leading Government Department on a range of system upgrade projects.
This leading Government Department is seeking a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract, based in Parramatta. In this role you will be responsible for driving high-level analysis and facilitating strategic advice to support IT project decision making, planning, resourcing and delivery across a portfolio of complex initiatives.
Gathering Business requirements including user and non-functional requirements.
Assessing technology options against established requirements.
Working with Stakeholders to guide system implementation to meet business and technology needs.
Identify improvement opportunities and work with the IT team and the business to lead continuous
Review project development, operational and administrative activities and associated processes and procedures to ensure methodologies, process and tools are consistently implemented.
Improvement in business analysis capability, including resourcing.
Extensive and demonstrated experience conducting analysis of business requirements across a complex portfolio of initiatives and experience interpreting and translating analysis into technical specifications and requirement documentation.
Demonstrated experience working in capital projects systems (construction/transportation industry)
