We are partnering with a leading financial services company to engage an experienced Business Analyst to support a critical legal agreements and harmonisation initiative. This role sits within a highly regulated environment and will work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure legal and regulatory obligations are accurately translated into business and system outcomes.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical capability, excellent documentation skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing legal agreements and identify gaps, inconsistencies and areas requiring harmonisation
- Interpret legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into clear business and functional requirements
- Work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
- Document current and future state processes, controls and impacts to systems and member communications
- Support impact assessments across operations, technology and member outcomes
- Produce high-quality artefacts including business requirements, process maps and control documentation
- Contribute to delivery planning and support implementation where required
About You
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally insurance, superannuation or banking
- Strong exposure to regulatory change, legal interpretation or compliance-driven initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Legal and Risk stakeholders
- Excellent documentation, process mapping and requirements definition skills
- Comfortable operating in complex, highly regulated environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
This is a 6-month contract commencing in January, offering the opportunity to work on a high-impact regulatory initiative within a collaborative, enterprise-scale environment, with a competitive day rate on offer.
