Roles/Responsibilities
- Leads the system integration, verification, and validation strategy, ensuring timely delivery and budget management.
- Manages system test leads, integration test leads, and coordinates test environment development.
- Ensures system validation activities are aligned with the project schedule, delivering required reports and documents on time.
- Works closely with project teams and manages risks, adapting plans and costs as needed.
- Reports on system validation progress and test performance to the project manager, ensuring effective communication with teams and customers.
- Approves test plans, resources, and reports, ensuring compliance with testing scope and strategy.
- Implements continuous improvement in testing processes, contributing to innovation and standardization efforts.
Required skills
- Ability to drive and deliver system integration, verification, and validation strategies, including cost estimations and approval processes.
- Experience managing system validation sub-project teams and coordinating with test leads, project tool development teams, and validation service coordinators.
- Strong skills in managing budgets, controlling progress according to the validation schedule, and ensuring on-time delivery of milestones and reports.
Preferred skills
- Expertise in risk management and assessing incoming change requests, adjusting plans and costs as necessary.
- Approval responsibility for test environments, validation plans, test resources, and ensuring the quality of system validation activities and test reports.
- Ability to deploy and maintain project orchestration processes, ensure ASPICE compliance, and drive continuous improvement in testing and validation processes.
Personal Attributes
- Strong communication skills to report on validation activities, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
