Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand key relationships with Japan's largest corporate clients.
- Originate and execute complex financial transactions, including lending, transaction banking, and capital markets products.

- Develop and execute strategic account plans to strengthen client engagement and revenue growth.
- Monitor portfolio performance, credit exposure, and risk metrics.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations at senior management levels.
- Mentor junior bankers and contribute to overall team capability and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in corporate or investment banking, with strong exposure to major Japanese corporates.
- Proven success in origination, execution, and relationship management for multi-product corporate banking clients.
Technical Expertise:
- Broad knowledge of lending, transaction banking, financial markets, and capital markets.
- Strong understanding of credit, risk management, and governance frameworks.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborative mindset and strategic thinking ability.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native-level proficiency (required for client engagement and documentation).
